Banging cold water pipes?Sounds like you're suffering from water hammer. A common problem that can usually be solved. Adding pipe clips to the pipework may help, but probably you have high water pressure. A pressure reducing valve may be required as some electric showers will blow if the pressure is too high. Another solution is a shock arrestor (mini expansion vessel) for water. This is usually the cheapest option.
