The company was formed in 1981 at its' headquarters current location on Moss Lane. At first it focussed mainly on roofing but later developed into a major building materials merchant. Later it expanded its premises to include a  plumbing and heating division.

Further expansion means we now have a timber division all under one roof. The company now boasts the largest stock both on the heavy side and light side building materials in the area. Supplying many top brands well known in the industry - both from ex-stock and specials with fast delivery, it is no wonder R&M are the number one choice in the trade!
